How LA Serve work to provide you a professional, optimised website There are three main steps to getting your own professional and optimised website online: 1. Register a website name (domain) 2. Consider your hosting options (Both of the above incur annual charges - see Website Design Pricing) 3. Design the looks and features of your website Our team will design a professional and optimised website for you which will be built upon a comprehensive brief. Prior to our design team getting to work, we will need to discuss the following: Do you know why you want a website and what is it for? Is it targeted at any specific market? What features does it need to have? Editability? Database integration? Shopping cart? Do you have a logo and/or specific colours we need to use? Do you need help writing the text for your site? And do pictures need taking? What other websites do you like? How will you promote your site? How crucial is being found on search engines? These types of questions help us to build up the brief so that we can then create a relevant website for you. We also communicate whilst your site is in production. Once we're off and running, the first step is create "the look". This is not the finished article but is the initial proof to discuss where to go next. Once happy with the general appearance of the site, the designer can then implement any programming, our optimisation procedures and add pages as required. This will then be submitted to you for approval. The finished site needs to comply with our policy standards.
