Before the telemarketing project can begin, or any calls are made, a discussion guide is written and agreed with you.
We do not use formal scripts during telemarketing calls. We try to make calls as flexible and natural sounding as possible. The guide ensures that the main objectives of the call are met, prompts our telemarketing team to gather any specific information you have requested and includes any background information on your organisation which may be useful during the call.
Guidance from you and your team on common telemarketing objections, and successful phrasing is always useful in preparing this guide.
After the first few calls, this guide may be amended dependant on feedback from callers. Sample discussion guides
Telemarketing notes can be structured to include information such as:
- Follow up date, if applicable
- Level of interest rating
- Reasons for non-interest
